Crotons are wonderful Fall Plants
Autumn is one of my favorite seasons, and I love to plant crotons along with other fall plants One of my favorite plants to use for this purpose is the Croton. Croton plants come in more than 100 varieties, and they come in every color of autumn: red, yellow, green, copper, orange, brown, pink and ivory. The leaves create a visually attractive splash of fall color.

These tropical plants love humidity, so be sure to mist them often and keep a pebble tray or humidifier nearby (if indoors). They also like bright sunlight to help encourage the growth of brightly colored leaves, if they don't get enough light, their bright colors will fade, and the leaves will look dark green, so make sure if you keep them indoors to locate them near a window so they can receive as much sun as possible. Crotons require six to eight hours of direct sunlight to produce vibrant yellow, red, and purple foliage
You can easily grow them indoors or out, making them a great choice for your garden or porch!
Crotons are an easy-to-care-for plant that looks great with mums and pansies. I love them because they're perfect for fall decor.
Bonus points: crotons are easy to care for and low maintenance.
If you haven't tried growing croton yet, we highly recommend adding one to your garden this fall.
In summary, crotons are a great plant to have in your garden. They have beautiful colors, they're versatile and easy to care for and they look great with other plants. If you're looking to add some color to your yard this fall, consider incorporating some croton!
